Quick Guide to Overdrive Ereader Quick guide to OverDrive eReader Step 1: Sign up with OverDrive To get eBooks on your Kobo Aura, Aura H2O, Touch 2.0, or Glo, sign up for an OverDrive account . On the OverDrive website, click 'Sign up' on the top right corner. Then enter your name, email address and password. Click 'Sign up'. Kobo Aura ONE Tip The Kobo Aura ONE works a little differently to most eReaders. You can download eBooks directly through the Kobo Aura ONE. Find out how to get started with the Kobo Aura ONE Step 2: Download Adobe Digital Editions Download Adobe Digital Editions to your Windows computer. On Adobe Digital Editions, click on 'Authorise'. On the Computer Authorization screen, select OverDrive on the eBook Vendor drop- down. On the Vendor Login ID and Vendor Password fields, enter the email address and password you used to sign up with OverDrive. Click 'Authorize'. Step 3: Sign in to our OverDrive website Go to the Auckland Libraries OverDrive website and sign in with your OverDrive account. Click 'Sign in' on the top right corner. Then click 'Sign in with OverDrive'. Then click 'Sign in with OverDrive'. Enter your email address and password. Step 4: Add your library card To sign in to our OverDrive website, add your library card. On the Add a Library Card popup window, click 'Add a card' at the top right corner. Then enter your library card number and click 'Sign in'. Step 5: Find a book to borrow View our collections. Browse by clicking on 'Subjects', 'Collections', 'Kids' or 'Teens'. Step 6: Borrow a book 'Borrow' books if 'Available'. 'Place a hold' on books if on 'Wait List'. At the bottom of the book, click on 'Go to loans'. Step 7: Download the book Download the book to Adobe Digital Editions. Click on the Download button. Step 8: Transfer the book to your Kobo eReader Connect your Kobo Aura, Aura H2O, Touch 2.0, or Glo to your computer. Check that your Kobo eReader device appears on the left hand menu of Adobe Digital Editions. Drag the book to your Kobo eReader. When transfer is complete, disconnect your Kobo eReader from your computer. .

    Libby Frequently Asked Questions 1. Is Libby replacing the OverDrive app? Yes, the OverDrive app will be removed from the Apple App Store, Google Play and Microsoft store in February 2022. Existing OverDrive app users may continue to use the OverDrive app but are strongly recommended to access the OverDrive collection from the Libby app instead.     Using Overdrive with your Kobo Kobo Aura, Aura H20, Touch 2.0, and Glo These instructions are for the Kobo Aura, Aura H20, Touch 2.0, and Glo. Note: If you have a Kobo Forma, Aura ONE, Aura H20 Edition 2, Aura Edition 2, or Clara HD, please use the tip sheet for these Kobo devices. If you have a Kobo Arc or Vox, please use the tip sheet for Android devices. Step 1: If you are using your Kobo for the first time, follow the setup instructions that came with your Kobo and create your Kobo account. Step 2: Download Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) to your computer and authorize with an Adobe ID. To download Adobe Digital Editions, visit https://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital- editions/download.html and click on the link that matches your operating system. After Adobe Digital Editions installs, click on Help and select Authorize Computer. Enter either an existing Adobe ID or follow the instructions to create a new one. Step 3: Connect your Kobo to your computer and turn it on. It should appear under Devices in Adobe Digital Editions. Click the gear icon above it and select Authorize Device. Once you have authorized your Kobo, you are ready to borrow books from the library! Step 4: To download an eBook, visit http://innisfillibrary.ca/ebooks.     Kobo Aura One Step 1: Set up an OverDrive account Open the browser on your computer, and go to https://www.overdrive.com/account/sign-up At the section that says “Enter Your Details”, type in your name and your email address, and create a password in the “Set a Password” field Click on “Sign Up” You will see a notification at the top of the page that your account must be validated. An email will be sent to the address you used to sign up, containing a link for you to click on to validate your account. Once you have clicked on the link in your email, you will see a message at the top of the page that says “Congratulations, your account has been verified”.
