1 – CAMPSITE GENERAL INFORMATION p. 1 Main reception

Campsite main reception is open every day and will provide you with general and touristic information. It also offers the following services: safe rental, WI-FI tickets, mail service and excursions. Do not hesitate if you need any information related to campsite services or animations.

Low season opening times: 9 am – 12 noon and 2 pm – 7 pm; High season opening times: 8 am – 8 pm

Barriers opening times: 7 am to midnight. Please note it is strictly prohibited to drive on site outside of the opening times Water complex

The aquatic complex will be your family’s favourite spot in the campsite as it features a large swimming pool, a children’s pool as well as water slides. Little ones and grown-ups will have a fabulous time! Parents can relax and sunbathe on the free sun loungers while children play in the pool.

Important information: Please note that the swimming pool area is not supervised. Wearing swimming shorts, as well as swimming with your clothes on, is prohibited. Inflatables are also prohibited. Swimming lessons are available for an extra cost. Opening times: 10 am – 7 pm

Sports and recreational facilities and activities

Multisports ground, boules, playground area for children, an outside area with a few fun fitness appliances and a small indoor gym.

Tennis table, foosball, games room, workshops, water games, aperitif games, sports competitions, jogging sessions, zumba classes, stretching classes, water activities such as aqua gym, aqua fun, aqua bike, aqua jumping and water polo.

Kids Club

From 6 to 12 years old: make-up workshops, tattoos, artistic activities (drawing, painting etc.), outdoor play time, water games etc. Opening times: 10 am – 12 noon and 2 pm – 5 pm [might vary depending on days and time of the year]

Evening activities and entertainment

Evening entertainment: bingo, pool party, live bands, kids show and others. It usually happens on the stage near the snack bar and finishes at 11.30 pm. [Shows and frequency may vary depending on the time of the year]

Campsite rules

When you book with Lifestyle Holidays, you agree to comply with the campsite rules which are on display at main reception or can be handed out on request. We advise you to read them carefully. We cannot be responsible if you get evicted from the resort for any breach of the rules. Please note that you might not be allowed to wear swimming shorts or shirts in the pool. It is strictly prohibited to enter the swimming pools outside the opening hours. Please respect your neighbours, any abusive and repetitive disturbance noises could lead to sanctions.

Getting around

On foot: Camping Les Pins is ideally situated as it is right in the centre of Argeles Plage. If you have a car and don’t want to use it during your holiday, please note that everything is in walkable distances. The nearest beach as well as the bars, restaurants and shops are only a short 5-minute walk.

Cycling: If you love cycling and fancy discovering Argelès-sur-Mer and its surroundings, there is a bike shop called « Le Guidon Futé » just outside the campsite. It offers bike rentals from 29€ per week.

The « TRAINBUS »: In July and August, the “trainbus” is the easiest way to get around Argelès and discover the area: the old town, the port, le Racou, the leisure area with the Luna Park theme park, bowling, go-karting etc., the countryside. The nearest stop is right outside the campsite, in front of the supermarket Intermarché Contact. Tariffs adult: Return - 4.50€; One way - 2.50€; 5 day pass 20€. Children: Return – 3.50€; One way - 2.00€; 5 day pass – 20€.

Le TAM : The TAM is a free transport that runs 7 days a week in April and May and stops at the old town, the Racou, the beach and the port. You can find circuit and timetables at the tourist office.

1€ bus: By taking the 1€ bus, you will be able to go from Argelès to Perpignan, , Cerbère, Banyuls-sur-Mer or Saint-Cyprien for example. Do not hesitate to call +33 4 68 81 15 85 or go to the tourist office [“Office de Tourisme” on the previous map]

ARGELES TOURISME VOYAGE

This company offers excursions in bus throughout the year. In high season, excursions are organized every week to Barcelona, la Jonquera, Figueres, Andorra… You could for example go to the ascent of Canigou, on shopping trips or cultural visits in Spain

As an example, estimate 39€ per adult for a day in Barcelona, 50€ for the Canigou ascent or 53€ for the boat trip. If you would like to discover Spain by boat, cruises are offered from June to September. For more information, consult their website http://www.argeles-tourisme.com/

This company is specialized in boat trips, fishing in the Mediterranean and shuttle service between the ports of Argeles, Port- Vendres and Collioure.

The flagship expedition is the cruise with underwater views. You will also be able to appreciate in the best way the rocky coast and beautiful Paulilles bay. Tariffs for 2 hours: 22€ per adult and 12€ per child.

Tip: Collioure is very busy in summer so think about their shuttle service by boat if you would like to go to the market for example without being stuck in traffic jams or having to find a parking place. Every Wednesday and Sunday in high season, 25 min, 15€ per adult and 8€ per child.

THE YELLOW TRAIN

The little yellow train is a symbol in the region. It runs from Villefranche-de-Conflent to Latour-de-Carol, a 63km route with spectacular views throughout the mountains.

There are many marked footpaths allowing you to discover the Region’s beautiful landscapes. You can find plenty of guides at the tourist office or guided walking tours on the following website http://www.argeles-sur-mer.co.uk/see-do/guided-walking- tours

LE SENTIER LITTORAL (COASTAL PATH) It extends from the Mas Larrieu Natural Reserve to the Ouille cove (about 10km). The path is marked out with yellow lines and explanatory panels about culture and history. It is an excellent way to admire the view of the mountain, the sea and the coves.

TOUR DE LA MASSANE (MASSANE TOWER): A 14km hike (4h30-5h walk) in the mountain between Argelès and Collioure. It is considered as a medium to hard hike but the view from the top is worth the effort.

LE PIC CARLIT (CARLIT PEAK) One of the most beautiful hike in the region, you will love the walk around the numerous lakes at the foot of the mountain, it is however advised to be experienced to reach the summit. As the place is very touristic and to protect this natural space, be aware that traffic is controlled and you might want to get more information from the tourist office.
