Edmonton Garrison COMMUNITY GUIDE Fall/Winter 2021/22

CAFconnection.com/Edmonton Commander’s Message

As we approach the Fall and Winter season, the Group Sergeant Major and I would like to express our best wishes to all Military and family members. We would like to especially extend a warm welcome to all the new families to the Edmonton Garrison and area. My family and I are new to the area and are looking forward to taking advantage of the great programs that the PSP and MFRC staff have to offer. They provide a diverse range of activities and support which is in place to enable the success of the Garrison.

This past year, our families and military members faced the challenging and ever-changing conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, as a community, we have persevered and remained strong, vigilant and resilient. The PSP and MFRC teams and other local community organizations played a critical role in providing support for the well-being of our families and their hard work is truly commendable.

Throughout this guide you will find many opportunities designed to boost and enable our military members and families. There are numerous clubs, fitness activities, wellness programs, personal development courses, and health services in place to support everyone. I encourage everyone to take advantage of what the Edmonton Garrison and area has to offer as it is a great place to live and as a community we are prepared to thrive together.
