Digital Graphic

Position Summary:

The Digital is responsible for digital graphic , execution and maintenance for multiple brands. This position is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand and on-strategy creative for websites, web pages, product graphics, email promotional creative and templates, social media graphics, banner ads and some print materials. The ratio of time will be 35% creating digital graphics/assets for websites, landing pages and social platforms, 60% designing layout and build of email marketing materials and 5% photography and print design.

The position will work closely with our Creative, Product and Marketing teams to ideate and develop the concepts used to sell our products in a variety of different formats and channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Create, update, and maintain digital marketing graphics and materials including but not limited to website and social media banners and ads, display ads, email builds and template . o Includes sizing and versioning across all created assets and may include sizing and versioning of current or images/assets from 3rd party o Includes design, layout and build of all email marketing templates and branding messages  Create and manage visual elements throughout the Time Life and StarVista Live websites, including brand, promotional, and product images  Maintain organized cataloging and storage of all visual elements/images  Create device (mobile, tablet etc.) specific graphics ensure graphic solutions are optimized for integration, performance, usability and sustainability.  Translate marketing requirements and product positioning direction into digital marketing designs (banners, display ads etc.) to be used in landing pages and category product pages  Work with web operations team to ensure digital graphics and other assets take into account usability, accessibility and web standards.  Conceptualize and brainstorm ad ideas on an on-going, timely basis  Provide digital images through expansive research to use across multiple platforms  Utilize an understanding of contemporary web trends & techniques and design engaging web ads & elements.  Understand target audience and utilize audience understanding in design strategy  Design retail POP display and marketing materials  Photograph, edit and retouch product stills in conjunction with the video production team to be used in both print and digital environments  Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Preferred:

 Bachelor’s degree in , Visual Arts, Fine Arts or a related major  3-5 years of related experience in digital creative design in an agency or design setting at an established organization – experience with email marketing design and builds a must  Solid technical skills and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle GRAPHIC DESIGNER POSITION

 Understanding of web file types (.fla, .flv, .jpg, .png, .swf, etc.) and understanding of the difference between major coding languages (HTML, JavaScript, Flash)  An exceptional portfolio that showcases solid conceptual, color, and layout graphic design skills in digital – experience in print is a plus

Skills:

 Adobe CS expertise  HTML/CSS experience  Experience with social media platforms/email systems/mobile with UI/UX experience at the forefront of the process  Premiere, Final Cut a plus  Video and Photography experience a plus
