Dear ,

I wrote to you on 20 October following your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, where you asked for;

 Copies of any information provided to or imposed upon public organisations on treating individuals with mental health issues. By “treatment” we believe you are referring to how the individuals and organisations interacts with such individuals rather than any medical interventions that are prescribed.

 The contact details of all mental health organisations that have made representations to the current Cabinet Secretary for Health, Well-being and Sport.

All copies of guidelines used by organisations treating individuals with mental health issues are accessible to the public; please see attached links to this information at Annex A.

We are not required to provide you with a copy of the information under Section 21 of the FOI Act 2000, ‘Information accessible to the applicant by other means’. This is an absolute exemption and is not subject to the public interest or substantial harm tests.

The contact details of all mental health organisations that have made representations to the current Cabinet Secretary for Health, Well-being and Sport are attached at Annex B.
