Bhole Marg Dadar(West) Outside Antonio D’silva high school 1816-1837 Just outside Antonio Da Silva School, the milestone A(his), B(per), C(she) I peeks at the feet of those waiting at the stop for the BEST Bus.

xiii VIII miles from St Thomas Church Scheme No 6 Rd 30 ,Sion(East) In front of BankSion(E) branch 1816-1837 Located along the footpath on the way to Karnataka A(his), B(per), C(she) I Bank, Sion (E) on Scheme No.6, road No.1 doesn’t have any significant importance. Placed in between two residential blocks clearly un-noticed and the space next to the footpath is used as parking area for vehicles. xiv VII miles from St. Thomas Church L.J. Road (Mahim) North of junction with kataria marg 1816-1837 Originally located just north of Kataria Marg’s junction Delete with Lady Jamshetji Road, the milestone is no longer seen.

xv Standard benchmark for Bombay Veer Nariman Road Outside entrance to PWD building 1816-1837 A cube shaped stone marker with the words A(his), B(per), C(seh) I “Standard Benchmark for Bombay, Erected 1885” inscribed on the north side. To the west, are the words, “The top surface of this stone is 100 feet above the plane of reference, hitherto known as Town Hall Datum ” inscribed.Sited within the compound of the Public Works Department building but significant to the urban setting since it signifies the standard benchmarik for Bombay xvi Bombay town limit Bhaudaji Lad museum east and west Marker Stone 1816-1837 The markers sit in the verdant gardens of Jijamata A(his), B(per), C(seh) I inside Victoria garden Udyan (earlier Victoria Gardens) and stand along the side elevation of Bhau Daji Lad museum. They are significant as defining the old town limits of Bombay’s Island City.
