    The Story Coming In The Medicine Hat Tigers were bested 4-0 by the Brandon Wheat Kings on Tuesday night and they will look to return to their winning ways tonight when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Orange and Black are 14-7-1-0 overall and 6-2-1-0 at home. Medicine Hat is led by veteran forwards Captain James Hamblin with 33 points (14G, 19A) and Brett Kemp with 24 points (6G, 18A). After tonight’s battle with the Warriors, the Tabbies will host the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday. Tigers vs. Warriors For the first time this season the Tigers will faceoff against the Warriors. Last year, these two hockey clubs met four times and the Tabbies boasted a 1-2-0-1 record against the Warriors with their only win coming December 5th, 2018, in overtime. Over the past five years Medicine Hat is 4- 6-1-1 overall against Moose Jaw and 2-3-0-1 when playing at home. The Tigers and the Warriors will meet again next Friday in Moose Jaw. View from Moose Jaw The Moose Jaw Warriors lost 4-0 to the Saskatoon Blades on Sunday and they will be looking to rebound tonight in Medicine Hat. The Warriors are 9-9-1-0 so far this season and they are led by 2021 NHL Draft Eligible Ryder Korczak with 29 points (8G, 21A) in 19 games played and 2019 Anaheim Ducks draft pick Brayden Tracey with 22 points (10G, 12A) in 12 games played.     PRESENTER BIOGRAPHIES MIKE CRAIG – Lethbridge Hurricanes (November 14) Now a current assistant coach of the WHL’s Lethbridge Hurricanes, Mike had a highly decorated Junior hockey career, including winning a Memorial Cup alongside Eric Lindros with the Oshawa Generals, as well as winning a World Junior gold medal with Team Canada twice. He was also a first round draft choice, 28th overall, by the Minnesota North Stars. Mike would go on to play 423 NHL games for the North Stars, Dallas Stars, Toronto Maple Leafs and San Jose Sharks, as well as 11 seasons in Europe. FRAN GOW – Hockey Alberta (November 28 and December 5) Fran is currently a Coach Mentor in Hockey Development for Hockey Alberta, as well as the Vice President of Hockey Operations for the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Most notably, Fran is one of only three coaches in AJHL history to coach 1,000 regular season games. He achieved this great feat while coaching the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, Grande Prairie Storm, and Drayton Valley Thunder. Fran won an RBC Cup with Fort McMurray in 2000. MATT WENINGER – Hockey Alberta (December 12) Matt is currently the Consultant for Hockey Alberta’s South Regional Centre. He played minor hockey in Lethbridge before moving on to play three seasons in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. He then accepted an NCAA Division I scholarship to St. Lawrence University, graduating as the school’s all-time leader in games played and saves, and was second in all- time wins and shutouts. His coaching career includes stops with Laurentian University (CIS), the University of Lethbridge (CIS), the Yorkton Terriers (SJHL), and extensive work for the Saskatchewan Hockey Association before joining Hockey Alberta.

    MANITOBA AAA MIDGET HOCKEY LEAGUE Pembina Valley Hawks— 2014-15 Champions 2015 STATS & RECORD BOOK Celebrating 30 years 1985-1986 — 2014-2015 Preamble lthough the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League officially began with the 1985-86 season, the foundation for the league was laid a year earlier when the regional team Aconcept was first implemented. For the 1984-85 season, organizers proposed that an eight-team league be split into two four- team division with each of the teams playing host to a two-day tournament featuring teams from their own division. One final tournament would be held in which the top two teams from each di- vision would participate. The overall objective was to compete at the Branch, Western Regional and National Air Canada Midget Championship. A list of competing teams for the 1984-85 seasons has not been confirmed, but it is known that the rural division consisted of teams in Pembina Valley, Southwest, Interlake, Yellowhead and Brandon. The Winnipeg Stars won the provincial midget championship, defeating Pembina Valley Hawks in the City/Rural finals. The inaugural 1985-86 Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League season featured nine teams — Winnipeg (St. Boniface) Saints, River East Royals, Winnipeg South Monarchs and St. James Canadians in the City Division and Pembina Valley Hawks, Southwest Cougars, Brandon Wheat Kings, Parkland Stars and Interlake Raiders in the Rural Division.     MANITOBA AAA MIDGET HOCKEY LEAGUE BRANDON WHEAT KINGS — 2018-2019 CHAMPIONS 2019 STATISTICS & RECORD BOOK CELEBRATING 34 YEARS 1985-1986 — 2018-2019 PREAMBLE lthough the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League officially began with the 1985-86 season, the foundation for the league was laid a year earlier when representatives from around the province got together and the regional team Aconcept was first implemented. For the 1984-85 season, organizers proposed that an eight-team league be split into two four-team division with each of the teams playing host to a two-day tournament featuring teams from their own division. One final tournament would be held in which the top two teams from each division would participate. The overall objective was to compete at the Branch, Western Regional and National Air Canada Midget Championship. A list of competing teams for the 1984-85 seasons has not been confirmed, but it is known that the rural division con- sisted of teams in Pembina Valley, Southwest, Interlake, Yellowhead and Brandon. The Winnipeg Stars won the provincial midget championship, defeating Pembina Valley Hawks in the City/Rural finals. The inaugural 1985-86 Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League season featured nine teams — Winnipeg (St. Boniface) Saints, River East Royals, Winnipeg South Monarchs and St. James Canadians in the City Division and Pembina Valley Hawks, Southwest Cougars, Brandon Wheat Kings, Parkland Stars and Interlake Raiders in the Rural Division.
