Some of popular restaurants in Jerusalem include: German Colony Sushi Rechavia – 48 Emek Refaim. They are known for their sushi, but also have delicious Thai food. This is a meat restaurant. Caffit – 36 Emek Refaim. They have pastas and salads with a nice brunch buffet on Fridays. This is a dairy restaurant. Burger’s Bar – 18 Emek Refaim. If you want a grilled burger or steak wrap (they also make a grilled Portobello mushroom), this is the place to go. You will find Burger’s Bar in many cities in Israel. Aldo – their ice cream is delicious and they have both pareve (non-dairy) and dairy options. It’s near Sushi Rechavia. They also have 2 locations on Ben Yehuda. Marzipan – 5 Rachel Imenu. They are known for their rugelach and are also located at Machane Yehuda, the shuk. Ben Yehuda Area: Moshiko – 5 Ben Yehuda. They have the best falafel & schwarma. Tmol-Shilshom – 5 Solomon Street (off Ben Yehuda). They have excellent soups, salads, bread, quiches and an excellent Friday brunch. Ask someone for directions; it’s behind some of the shops on Yoel Solomon Street. The Village Green – 33 Jaffa Road Excellent vegetarian/dairy/vegan restaurant. The food is served cafeteria style and their portions are quite large. There are several restaurants on Ben Yehuda and the side streets to enjoy. Another popular place to eat Aroma Café. You can find them all over Israel. Aroma is known for their iced café (a cold coffee drink made like slushy drinks in the US), coffee and hot chocolate.
