Blackwood, J.T. Kent, H.C. Allen (Key Notes) and so many other leading ones. The following abbreviations are used in the text, for showing the respective authors. 1. Boericke for William Boericke 2. JHC for John Henry Clarke 3. Blackwood for A.L. Blackwood 4. Kent for J.T. Kent 5. HCA for H.C. Allen Here I could reflect my 35 years of experience in Homoeo System of medicine, and my understanding after going through hundreds of books and literature available on this system. I did not venture to write a separate Repertory for this Compilation, because I feel that one can use any one of the Repertories available with the materia medica of the above mentioned authors. Moreover in my opinion that a Homoeopath should know the disease totally, i.e., Mental, Physical, General and Particular - thereafter he should try to find out drugs available in the Materia Medica - matching for those conditions of the disease. Repertory is helpful to some extent for narrowing down the group of drugs for the selection, but without mastering the Materia Medica, selecting the drug will always lead to wrong prescription. After going through this compilation, I hope that one may develop the inquisity to know more from the quoted Original Books of the Authors, and enhance their knowledge on this subject. The philosophy of Homoeopathy i.e. Similia Similibus Curentur and its application is known to all of us, who practise this system. But in the next chapter, I tried to explain it further in my Article 'A thought for all of us' in which one can comprehend vividly. I hope that this book is going to be very useful for the students of Homoeopathy and the practising doctors of this science. The book contains the well known verified characteristic symptoms of all our medicines besides other less important symptoms aiding the selection of the curative remedy. All the new medicines and essentials of the published clinical experience of the school have been added. In its present compact form it contains the maximum number of reliable Materia Medica facts in the mini- mum space. I have tried to give a succinct resume of the symptomatology of every medi- cine used in Homoeopathy, including also clinical suggestions of many drugs so far not yet based on provings, thus offering the opportunity of experiment with these and by future provings discover their distinctive use and so enlarge- ing our armamentarium. I am aware that there is a difference of opinion about the advisability of further introduction of remedies, especially of such as seem obsolete or to some minds illusory.

Post-Debate Questions I- Questions for André: A) Questions from Joe to André: 1-Homeopaths claim that even after a substance is dissolved in water or alcohol and diluted to such an extent that there is not a single molecule of the original solute left, the solution still retains some memory of the solute. But this solution is then impregnated into a sugar pill and the water is evaporated. What then is left behind? And how does whatever is left behind have anything to do with healing? A: Homeopaths are actually not making such a claim, but have instead been reporting a series of very important experimental observations that are, first, sick people are sensitive to remedies that can produce a similar state as their sickness;1 second, patients usually experience an initial aggravation when remedies are precisely prescribed to them according to this principle of similarity;2 third, to avoid this initial aggravation, Hahnemann did what any logical physician would do, he diminished the dose. At first, he used simple dilutions,3 and only many years later he began using serial succussed dilutions,4 a process he had previously used in chemistry5 and which had 1 Hahnemann reported this phenomenon in great detail and with many observations in 1796 in his Essay on a New Principle for Ascertaining the Curative Powers of Drugs. Library holds the unique manuscript of the sixth Digitizing Hahnemann’s manuscript and edition of Samuel Hahnemann’s Organon der determining the best method of presentation on the Heilkunst, the primary text of homeopathy. The web posed several challenges. Lessons learned in the manuscript volume is Hahnemann’s own copy of the course of this project will inform future digital fifth edition of the Organon with his notes for the projects.
