GIFT GUIDE 2019 In partnership with WWW.OPENTOALL.COM/2019GIFTGUIDE Welcome to the inaugural Open to All Holiday Gift Guide! This guide contains products at every price point from inclusive businesses who value all of their customers. This holiday season, support businesses who support you, your family, your friends, and your neighbors—no matter what you look like or where you are from. GIFT GUIDE WHAT IS OPEN TO ALL? 2019 Open to All is a campaign to transform America. At a time of deep divisions, Open to All nonprofits and businesses are joining together from all walks of life and work to build In partnership with a thriving and inclusive nation where all are welcome—regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, religion or disability. Far too often, we hear stories of discrimination, such as people of color facing abuse and violence in a diner, Muslim women ordered to leave a café, people with disabilities being harassed in a restaurant, or an employee being fired just for being gay or transgender. Open to All says: We must all lead the way to doing better. We believe we all have something to contribute. We believe we can all learn from each other. We believe that when we work together, when we value our employees, when we care for our customers and each other, we all thrive. Never before have so many businesses and nonprofits joined together in a single, unified campaign that sends a message that everyone is welcome, valued, and respected. Because when a business is open to the public, it should be open to all. Open to All is backed by 200 nonprofits, from the Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights to the Anti-Defamation League to disability groups. When the likes of Yelp, Lyft, Gap Inc., Old Navy, Coach, kate spade new york, Stuart Weitzman, Chronicle Books, Sephora, Michaels Craft Stores, H&M, and thousands of small businesses come together, change happens. Imagine the hurt of being turned away from a business this holiday season, simply because of who you are. Be part of the change by giving the gift of inclusion. Not only is it the right thing to do, but when customers—you and me—support the businesses in these pages this holiday season, we show it matters whether a business is Open to All. And you’ll be in good company—according to the 2019 Edelman Brand Report, 69% of consumers want brands to be more involved in societal issues and express their values. Thanks for being a part of this movement to bring an end to discrimination and to say that this holiday season, everyone is welcome. Happy Holidays, Calla Rongerude, Open to All Campaign Director “I started RAYGUN because I wanted to add something to the community I grew up in. I can think of nothing better than for this to be a 5 space where everyone is welcome. Where they UNDER may like the product, or not, but where they are free to come in, 9 $25 to shop, and to be themselves.” MIKE DRAPER, Owner, RAYGUN 2 10 3 4 6 8 11 1 7 “Open to All important to me because I want to make America a better place with- out discrimination.
