OAKLAND NOTES  The Oakland Athletics have lost four straight and five of the last six games to fall to a season-low 15 games under .500, the first time they have been 15 games under since September 9, 2009 (62-77)…have two home runs or fewer in each of the last 92 games, which is an Oakland record (previous: 91 games, July 31, 1974-May 16, 1975)…are 0-4 on this 10-game homestand against Texas (0-3), Baltimore (0-1) and Toronto (four games).  Gio Gonzalez is 0-5 with a 7.90 ERA (24 er in 27.1 ip) over his past five starts…the five-game losing streak matches his career high (also Aug. 17, 2008- June 30, 2009)…is 1-5 with a 6.29 ERA (24 er in 34.1 ip) in six starts since the All-Star Break after going 8-6 with a 2.47 ERA in 18 starts before the break…is 0-6 with a 5.85 ERA (26 er in 40.0 ip) in seven starts against AL East teams this year and 9-5 with a 2.43 ERA (29 er in 107.1 ip) in 17 starts against everyone else.  Brandon Allen (3 for 4) has back-to-back three-hit games (6 for 8, .750)…the three hits match his career high (also Aug. 28, 2009 vs. Houston).  Coco Crisp (1 for 3) is 25 for 74 (.338) over his last 19 games.  David DeJesus (1 for 4) is 11 for 39 (.282) with five doubles over his last 10 games…has now hit nine doubles in 25 games since the All-Star Break after tallying just nine in 79 games before the break.  Hideki Matsui (1 for 4) has now reached base safely via a hit or walk in 27 of his 28 games since the All-Star Break and is batting .394 (43 for 109) since the break.  Jemile Weeks (1 for 5) has gone homerless in each of his 58 games, which is the longest since Mike Bordick set the Oakland record with a 132-game streak before hitting his first May 10, 1992.
