GLOBAL OFFICE C- 55, SAINIK NAGAR, UTTAM NAGAR, NEW DELHI – 110059, INDIA Ph: 9968487620/ 9911853422 Email: Proactive2019@Gmail.Com MONTFORTIAN EDUCATION FOUNDATION GLOBAL OFFICE C- 55, SAINIK NAGAR, UTTAM NAGAR, NEW DELHI – 110059, INDIA Ph: 9968487620/ 9911853422 Email: [email protected] Agenda - 26 < Ensure presence of Montfortian Education in all 195 countries by 2030.> Montfort, the missionary started his mission when he left home. En route the missionary adventure he took disciples to continue the mission. In 1947 he was declared a Saint with an expressive statue erected in St. Peter’s Basilica. In 1998 his universal presence was acknowledged and proclaimed by Pope John Paul II, leading to his name in the Ordo and memorial in all the parishes and religious communities of the world. Montfortian Education, which was part of his mission and integral to his vision, made substantial contributions in more than 30 countries worldwide during the last 300 years. It was re-founded on 25th March, 2017, as a universal mission to reach all countries of the world. How is it possible to realize such a goal? We are the answers. We are called and empowered to this global mission. Together we shall realize the goal of <ensuring the presence of Montfortian Education in all countries of LEARNING TO LIVE AS the world by 2030>. The Exponential Growth CHILDREN OF GOD Commission of 8 Elders has adopted it as a desirable objective and the MEF has already announced it to the congregation. T he MISSIONING begins now. CAll to mission It is our belief that all our communities are capable of being on Mission Ad Gentes as indicated to us by the General Chapter preparatory committee through the Calendar. It indicates the month of January as an opportunity to receive this gift. This mission comes as a Birthday Gift on 31st January by Montfort himself. Please receive it with fullness of joy and stillness of mystery. ‘How is it possible’ will be revealed by Angel Gabriel as we go along. The following pages indicate your destination. The choices are not rational but aspirational. The goal is clear – Montfortian Education – for enlightenment, wisdom and sense of mission. World is one The Global Village is accessible to all of us today. Our commitment to a fraternal world must reach out to all as per the vision of Montfort. During the last 3 decades of our Revitalization process, the Foculare Movement influenced us much. Chiara Lubich, the Foundress of the Movement, said that going to a new country should be as normal as going from one room to another. With that spirit her disciples have reached all countries of the world in a short span of 5 decades. With more than 1000 Brothers we are more empowered to make things happen in a short span of time. The Education mission for fraternal world is not only desirable but possible. Montfortian Education is to contribute Enlightenment and Wisdom for the Liberos of our time. Give wings to our mission and open up for new possibilities of presence and action. There are 195 Countries recognized by the U.N. We assign one country to a community for their Mission to ensure the presence of Montfortian Education in that country. Some of the larger countries are given to two or more communities. Please find the Chart below where the Code - Community – Country, are given. The Provincial communities are set aside as coordinating agencies. The communities with retired Brothers will support the venture with their prayers or optional help wherever possible. It will open up new possibilities for Associates and Secular Members in a big way. It is an opportunity for unlimited Initiatives and Innovation. New Structures and assistance mechanism will be drawn up as we go along. The Education Secretariat in New Delhi will accompany the Communities, and monitor the process. Look at the end of the list for Start Up proposals. Thank you for your wholehearted response to take an unchartered path to an unknown destination, which sounds as not possible, but definitely DESIRABLE. mission ad Gentes CODE COMMUNITY COUNTRY DELHI A26D02 MONTFORT SCHOOL, AMBHIKAPUR ALBANIA A26D03 ST.MONFORT HR.SEC.SCHOOL, CHHATTISGARH ALGERIA A26D04 ST.FRNACIS SR.SEC SCHOOL, JAHANGIRABAD BAHAMAS A26D05 ST.MONFORT SR.SEC SCHOOL, PATELNAGAR BAHRAIN A26D06 MONTFORT SENIOR SEC SCHOOL, ASHOK VIHAR, DELHI BANGLADESH A26D08 ST.GABRIEL'S SR.SEC SCHOOL, JABALPUR-MP CABO VERDE A26D09 MONTFORT SCHOOL, JHABUA-MP CAMBODIA A26D10 ST.MONFORT I.T.C, KHANDWA AFGHANISTAN A26D11 MONTFORT INTER COLLEGE, LUCKNOW-UP DENMARK A26D12 MONTFORT SR.SEC.SCHOOL, MANDLA-MP DJIBOUTI A26D13 MONFORT SENIOR SEC SCHOOL HARIDWAR, UTTARANCHAL DOMINICA A26D14 ST.CHARLES INTER COLLEGE, MEERUT-UP ECUADOR A26D16 MONTFORT SCHOOL, RAIPUR EGYPT A26D17 ST.GABREIL TECNICAL SECONDARY SCHOOL, PAPUA NEW GUINEA EL SALVADOR A26D18 ST.CHARLES LWANGA SCHOOL, PORT MORESBY, PNG BENIN HYDERABAD A26H02 MONFORT HR.SEC.SCHOOL, CHANDRAPUR, MAHARASHTRA BRUNEI A26H03 MONTFORT TECH.TRG.CENTRE, CHANDRAPUR GAMBIA A26H04 V.S.ST.JOHN'SHR. DEVELOPMENT OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERSHIP MODEL FOR THE ENGLISH PROGRAM IN SCHOOLS OF THE ST. GABRIEL’S FOUNDATION, THAILAND BRO. PISUTR VAPISO A DISSERTATION SUBMITTED IN PARTIAL FULFILLMENT OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP GRADUATE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION ASSUMPTION UNIVERSITY OF THAILAND 2012 1 CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION This chapter outlined the background of the study and the statement of the problem. In addition to the research questions and research objectives, the theoretical and conceptual frameworks were also outlined. Moreover, this chapter includes the scope of the study, definition of terms and significance of the study. Background of the Study The current Thai education reform process maintains, in spirit, the original vision of the 1932 National Education Scheme, with a formal recognition of individual student ability, regardless of sex, social background, or physical condition. In subsequent education reforms, the modern concept of moving towards a knowledge-based information society was incorporated. Indeed, the 1997 economic crisis in Thailand, highlighted the social and educational weaknesses within sections of the population, culminating in the National Education Reform Act of B.E. 2542 (Office of National Education. B.E. 2542). English, as a national lingua franca, was specifically targeted by the National Education Reform Act for development. The National Education Reform Act of B.E. 2546 (Amendments of policy from the Office of National Education.B.E.2546 recognized that English, Standard, Business and Academic usages had expanded beyond their native communities. Such momentum had been strengthened by at least two social factors. First, the efforts of ministries of education worldwide and specifically Thailand to provide English language programs for their school populations; and second, the determination of non-native-speaking parents to acquire English proficiency for their children from the earliest possible age, with or without state help.
