This summer, take some time to enjoy great activities close to home. With something for all ages to appreciate, the area in and around Terwillegar is a great place to be in the summer time. Good old fashioned family fun starts at the annual Terwillegar Community League’s Canada Day bike parade. Meet some neighbours, decorate your bikes, and join the parade. The activities will start at Tomlinson Common Park on July 1 at 10a.m. Throughout the spring and summer, don’t forget to bring your kids to one of our local playgrounds for crafts, games and activities with our playground leaders at the green shacks. See the Terwillegar Community League (TCL) website at www.terwillegar.org for details on times and locations. Make sure you don’t miss TCL’s second annual Toonie Carnival on August 18 at South Terwillegar Park.
