THE HAMILTON MILK DISTRICT ORDER 1958

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day of May 1958 Present: THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Milk Act 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER 1. (1) This order may be cited as the Hamilton Milk District Order 1958. (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. 2. The Hamilton Milk District, as constituted by the Hamilton Milk District Constitution Order 1945,* shall hereafter consist of the City of Hamilton and parts of the and Waipa Counties; and the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto. 3. (1) The Hamilton Borough Council shall cease to be the Milk Authority of the Hamilton Milk District. (2) The Milk Authority for the H amilton Milk District shall be a District Milk Board, to be known as "The Hamilton Milk Board". (3) The Hamilton Milk Board shall consist of such members as are appointed by the Governor-General pursuant to subsection (3) of section 2 of the Milk Amendment Act 1947. 4. The Hamilton Milk District Constitution Order 1945* is hereby revoked.

THE HAMILTON MILK DISTRICT ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District in the City of Hamilton and the Waipa and Waikato Counties bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Allotment 293, Pukete Parish, on the left bank of the in Block IX, Komakorau Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly up the left bank of the Waikato River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 56, Kirikiriroa Parish; thence along a right line across the Waikato River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary crossing River Road to a point on that boundary being 5 chains north-easterly from and measured at right angles to the north-eastern side of River Road; thence along a series of right lines parallel to and 5 chains distant from the generally northern sides of River Road and Rototuna School Road, crossing Sylvester Road and Cates Road, the south-western, north-western, and northern sides of Hukanui Road, crossing a public road, Horsham Downs Road, and the north­ western side of the Hamilton-Tauhei via Gordonton Main Highway No. 534 to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 29963; thence along a right line crossing the said main high­ way to and along the said south-western boundary, along the north­ western and generally southern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 29845, and along the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 18276, all the aforementioned lots being parts of Allotments 101, 102, 105, 106, 107, 121A, and 303, Kirikiriroa Parish, and also being part of the Loan and Mercantile Grant, to the northern side of Puketaha Road; thence along the northern side of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of part Lot 11, D.P. 11006, being part of the Loan and Mercantile Grant; thence south-easterly generally along a right line across Puketaha Road to and along the said south­ western boundary to the easternmost corner of Lot 9, D.P. 11006, being part of the aforementioned grant, and parts of Allotments 119, 121, 121A, and 122A, Kirikiriroa Parish; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Lot 9 to a point in line with the south­ western boundary of part Lot 5, D.P. 11006, being part of the Loan and Mercantile Grant; thence along a right line across Greenhill Road to and along the last-mentioned south-westcrn boundary to the southernmost corner of the said part Lot 5; thence along a right line crossing part Lot 2, D.P. 15962, being part of the said grant, parts Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 15962, being parts Allotment 302, Kirikiriroa Parish, the Railway, Hollands Road, and the Cam­ bridge Branch Railway, to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 4472, being part Allotment 302, Kirikiriroa Parish; thence along the south-western side of the Cambridge Branch Railway to the right bank of the Mangaonua Stream situated in mock III, Hamilton Survey District; thence southerly gcnerally down the right bank of that stream to a point at right angles to and 5 chains distant north­ easterly from the north-eastern side of Tram Road; thence along a series of right lines parallel to and 5 chains distant from that north­ eastern roadside to a point due north of the intersection of the middle of the Mangaharakeke Stream with the middle of the Mangaone Stream; thence along a right line due south crossing Tram Road and part of the land shown on D.P. 7402, being Allotments 51, 52, 53, 1958/67 Hamilton Milk District Order 1958 347
