Evie Kladaki is a Maritime Economist specialised in port development and strategy. Evie has a strong research and professional background within the port and maritime industry. Holds a Bsc in Business Administration from the , , a MSc in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus, Greece, and a MSc in Transport & Maritime Economics from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Currently a PhD Student at the Dpt. of Shipping, Trade and Transport, of the University of the Aegean, Greece, working on the strategies of port bodies.

Evie is an Associate Researcher at the Laboratory of Research in Shipping and Port Management (ReShiP), of the Dpt. of Shipping, Trade and Transport, University of the Aegean, Greece. Within ReShip Evie is actively engaged in a variety of research projects, such as the EU funded project PORTOPIA (Ports Observatory for Performance Indicator Analysis, financed by the 7th Framework Programme FP7) in cooperation with the European Seaports Organisation.

As a consultant with Ports & Shipping Advisory S.A. (2015-2018) Evie has worked in a variety of projects, such as due diligence reports for international terminal operators, analyses of strategies of port authorities and business intelligence reports.

Currently a Lecturer at Athens Metropolitan College, Greece, Evie is teaching for the BSc (Hons) Maritime Business, a degree offered by Solent University, Southampton, the courses of Maritime Business, Ports & Logistics and Current Marine Issues. Also, supervisor of research projects and dissertations for both BSc and MSc students.

Evie has participated in International Conferences (IAME, ECONSHIP, ICTR) presenting her research on ports. Speaks Greek, English and French.
