2013–14 Research Assistant for Prof. John Meier, University of Notre Dame Edited drafts of Probing the Authenticity of the Parables (New Haven, CT: Press, 2016), volume 5 of his multivolume work, A Marginal Jew: Rethinking the Historical Jesus.

2012–13 Research Assistant for Prof. Candida Moss, University of Notre Dame Researched the editions of Eusebius’s Church History; Roman authorities in the New Testament Apocrypha; child bearing in the New Testament; and several aspects of Ignatius’s epistle to the church at Rome: (1) the different recensions of the epistle; (2) its relation to the Acts of the Ignatius; (3) allusions it makes to the apostle Paul and his letters.

2008–09 Research Assistant for Prof. Alex Jassen, University of Minnesota Helped prepare a critical edition of three Dead Sea Scroll manuscripts (4Q160, 4Q161, 4Q165). Specific duties included preparation of bibliography; collation of text-critical variants; textual and linguistic analysis; researching early Christian interpretations of Isa 10:22–11:5.

2005 Research Assistant for Prof. Gary Long, Bethel University (St Paul, MN) Edited early drafts of his book, Grammatical Concepts 101 for Biblical Greek (Peabody, MA: Hendrickson, 2006), with particular attention to checking the accuracy of the Greek texts.
