Late Bus

Departure from school:

Similar to previous years, Northampton High School will continue to provide a late bus service from September 2021 which is provided at no additional cost. The late bus service will comprise three minibuses, each departing from the school at 17:15 and 17:50.

Parents should book their daughter on the service at least 6 hours in advance of the bus departure time through the online booking system, and the exact route taken will depend on demand. You will receive a confirmation email upon booking the late bus service, which will confirm that your daughter is able to travel. Students are scanned on to the bus, which then provides tracking for your peace of mind.

Overleaf, we have included the indicative timetable and routes for the three services that operated during the 2020-21 academic year. Based on parental demand, these will be amended as we start the academic year, so we encourage parents to Contact Us with their arrangements once the requirement is known. Whilst it might not be possible to accommodate all requests, we will do our utmost to ensure that a wide geographical area is served.

Fares on the late bus service are the same as those on the other school bus services, and if you purchase a bus pass for the school bus service, your daughter can use the late bus service at no extra cost – route amendments can be made from the ‘my account’ section of the booking website.
