He played for six years in the AF2, with the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Pioneers as well as the Albany Conquest. He also spent three years in the AFL, with the Iowa Barnstormers and the Columbus Destroyers. Currently, he is the starting quarterback in the AFL for the Philadelphia Soul. Colgate running back Kenny Gamble (1986-87) Gamble, the winner of the first ever Walter Payton Award as the best player in Division 1-AA in 1987, was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2002. The Kansas City Chiefs drafted him in the 10th round, and he played for them for three seasons, amassing 24 yards and one touchdown.
