For a Psalm: The Psalms are most often prayers, and should be Bible Reading prayed to the Lord. Often you will find prayers that stretch you, and sometimes you will find phrases that at first seem difficult to pray. As you pray, ask May – August 2015 yourself, “How does this psalm refer to Christ, and how might he have prayed these words?” If you take time to study the Psalm for the day (using the suggestions above), finish by praying the Psalm.
