ABOUT I. History Scoot is a Singaporean low-cost owned by with its head office located at Singapore Airport. On 25 May 2011, announced its intention to establish a low-cast subsidiary for medium and long-haul routes. Its launching flight was on 4th of June 2012 from Singapore to in Australia, predominantly to China and . Since then, Scoot has grown substantially.

SCOOT RECRUITMENT PROCESS Transport and accommodation to join the recruitment process is self-funded and arranged by the candidates who wishes to attend the Roadshow & Assessment Centre (Step 3a and 3b). The cost os MMPI is payable by the candidate directly to the medical clinic, whereas the SIM assessment will be covered by Scoot.

Step 1: Apply and the Recruitment Team at Scoot will review your Application.

Step 2: Online Assessment Passed.

Step 3a: Day 1 – Q&A, Group Activities and Individual Interview. Results of Day 1 will be released to all attendees via e-mail beofre 6.30pm on the same day.

Step 3b: Day 2 & 3 – SIM check, Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) and Pre-License Conversion Check. i. The MMPI is a psychological tests that assess personality traits and psychopathology. All Flight Crew(s) who wishes to join Scoot are required to pass the MMPI Assessment.

Step 4: Evaluation of results. i. Results of MMPI takes about 3-4 weeks to be released.

Step 5: Contract briefing and e-offer.

Step 6: License Conversion, Work Pass Application and Class 1 Medical. i. Scoot will facilitate the work pass application for foreign candidates to work in Singapore.
