BIOGRAPHY Elvira Dayel is a multidisciplinary artist working in both traditional and new media including contemporary drawing in soft pastel, digital rendering and 3D printing. Born in Ukraine and now living in the United States, Dayel is influenced by the Russian Avant Garde, Russian Constructivism and Suprematism. Dayel combines these influences with a unique 21st century voice. Dayel’s hand-cut paper works that she calls “process drawings” are produced in a lengthy process that includes virtual modeling, rendering in 3D software, and printing on paper to create a stencil that is finally transferred to heavy weight paper and then hand cut. Dayel’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art in Atlanta, the Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts and Sciences, the Maturango Museum Art Gallery and the N.A.W.A Gallery in New York.

BIOGRAPHY Daniel Diaz-Tai was born in Venezuela but raised somewhere between Cumana, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing and San Francisco, California. His multiple homes have strongly influenced his chosen career as a visual artist. While he began his career in the arts with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he also earned a M.F.A in Painting from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco. His work developed from the need to find common ground between his journeys. By creating his own language through painting and calligraphy, he discovered a process that allows him to express himself. His studio is currently based at Arc Studios in San Francisco. Daniel Diaz-Tai’s artwork has been shown throughout the United States, Venezuela and Asia.

BIOGRAPHY Thanya Suwansawad earned her Fine Art degree from Silpakorn University, Bangkok. Post graduation, she opened a clothing business in Thailand elevating the use of handwoven Thai textiles in fashion during a time when the popularity of mass-produced fabrics was on the rise. Her clients ranged from renowned doctors and diplomats to the Queen of Thailand, who commissioned a fashion show. The event garnered Thanya even more recognition for her vision and support of Thai craftsmanship. Fast-forward to 2016 and Thanya has moved to the United States, successfully restarted her clothing business, consulted on countless small fashion businesses, and opened a Thai restaurant in San Francisco. Fueled by her artistic vision, each project was a testament to her attention to detail and her love for blending tastes, textures, color and craft. She became infatuated with weaving after being casually introduced to it by her granddaughter’s art teacher and local master weaver, Sandy Drobny.
