Binfield Heath and District Horticultural Society Affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Show st 71 Annual Flower Show and Companion Dog Show Saturday 24th August 2019, from 12.00 noon, opposite Holmwood, Binfield Heath RG9 4DP Admission: Adults £4, Senior citizens & Children 6 to 15 £2, Children 5 and under FREE, Family (2 adults, 2 children) £10 FREE parking Entries must be received by 7:00 pm Wednesday 21st August 2019 For Dog Show Enquiries see Dog Show entry form Schedule, Rules and Entry Forms For more information see our website: https://binfieldheath.org.uk/show For Flower Show enquiries only call Evelyn McQuater M: 0791 261 9970 Attractions for All Ages Exhibition of flowers, vegetables, preserves and baking within the main marquee Traditional Sideshows and games including Hoopla, Treasure Island, Tombola, Kick the Cans, Splat the Rat, Buzz Wire, Coconut Shy, Guess the Sweets, China Smash as well as new additions including Ladder Beanbags, Single Wicket Cricket, Beat the Goalie and Chicken Throw Children will love the Punch and Judy storytelling, pottery painting, children’s races, tractor rides and face painting. All the family will want to explore the animals joining us for the day - Llamas and Shetland ponies as well as a selection of reptiles and invertebrates including snakes, lizards and tarantulas. Add to this, owls and ferrets together with a selection farm animals, including goats ducklings and guinea pigs which can be fed and groomed during the afternoon. British Legion 50/50 Sale, Wyfold Riding for the Disabled Our Art Tent will exhibit the winning entries from four local schools Local artisan exhibitors including Max Stone Honey, Tonder & Tonder Linen, Forever Paws Dog Products, Lucienne De Mauny Ceramics, Lucy Houle Bags, All Seasons Tree Care, Raymond Burton Walking Sticks and Fab Drinks Santa Cruz Liqueur. We will feature a display of archive photos of Binfield Heath and surrounding areas together with artefacts from South Oxfordshire Archaeological Group who are researching a local site near the village. We will host our vintage cars, classic motor bikes and farm vehicles within the Showground (contact Phil Dyer T: 0779 879 5748), and enjoy the diverse dog breeds entering the Dog Show.
