Dal 20 al 27 ottobre tra i più quotati pokeristi a livello internazionale si fronteggeranno per aggiudicarsi la picca che sulla carta non deluderà le aspettative. Ad aprile era in palio un montepremi di 930.000 euro. Per l’Italia otre a Luca Pagano, sarà presente tutto il Team PRO di PokerStars.it al gran completo con il grandissimo Luca Minieri – che proprio a San Remo nel 2008 si classificò al terzo posto – mister EPT Salvatore Bonavena, Luca Moschitta, Pierpaolo Fabretti e i ragazzi del Team Online. I 23 tornei che compongono il PokerStars EPT San Remo si aprono oggi giovedì 20 con gli ultimi satelliti di qualificazione per il Main Event e durante i giorni seguenti prevedono le principali varianti del poker.     Daniel Negreanu und die Rassismus-Vorwürfe und noch mehr Klatsch und Tratsch aus der Poker Szene Von Lilly Wolf Auf seiner Twitter-Seite und in seinem Blog äußerte sich Daniel Negreanu über den ungünstig gewählten Namen des Fernsehsenders „Black Entertainment Television.“ Der Poker Pro ist der Meinung, dass dieser Name einen Keil zwischen Schwarz und Weiß treibt und er es besser finden würde einen Namen, wie “Urban Television Network” zu wählen. Gambling911 hat sich sofort auf diese Aussage gestürzt und einen Artikel mit dem Titel „Daniel Negreanu ein Rassist?“ veröffentlicht. Der Poker Pro nahm im 2+2 Forum dazu Stellung: „Wäre ich schwarz, würde ich den Begriff Afro-Amerikaner als beleidigend empfinden. Ich kenne viele Schwarze, darunter auch Whoopi Goldberg, die das ebenso sehen. Es ist nicht richtig, die schwarzen Amerikaner so zu bezeichnen, wenn man das nicht mit allen macht. Lasst doch alle Weißen, Schwarzen und Asiaten einfach Amerikaner sein.“ Dabei dachten wir das Sommerloch neigt sich dem Ende zu und die Pokermedien können wieder über wichtige Pokernews berichten.
