Atsushi Inaba Executive Director & Producer Born: 1971, Ishikawa, Japan. Noted Works: Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Series (GBA) Steel Battalion Series (Xbox) Viewtiful Joe Series Okami (PS2) God Hand (PS2) After gaining experience at a variety of game developers, Inaba joined Capcom in 1998, becoming a game producer in 2000. In 2004, he assumed the role of president of Capcom’s subsidiary, CloverStudio Co., Ltd. He held this title until 2006 when he left the Capcom group to become president and founder of SEEDS Inc. In October 2007, SEEDS Inc. merged with ODD Inc., to form PlatinumGames Inc., with Inaba assuming his present role as executive director and producer within the R&D division. Hideki Kamiya Creative Director Born: 1970, Nagano, Japan. Noted Works: Resident Evil 2 (PSX) Devil May Cry (PS2) Viewtiful Joe (GC) Okami (PS2) On joining Capcom in 1994, Kamiya first worked as a planner on Resident Evil (PSX) before moving on to direct Resident Evil 2 (PSX), Devil May Cry (PS2) and Viewtiful Joe (GC). In 2004 Kamiya joined Capcom’s subsidary CloverStudio, where he released Okami to worldwide critical acclaim in 2006. In August 2006, Kamiya moved on to SEEDS Inc., where he is currently creating Bayonetta for PlatinumGames Inc. Shinji Mikami Creative Director Born: 1965, Yamaguchi, Japan. Noted Works as Director: Resident Evil (PSX/GC) Resident Evil 4 (GC) God Hand (PS2) Noted Works as Producer: Dino Crisis (PSX) Devil May Cry (PS2) Killer7 (PS2/GC) Joining Capcom in 1990, Mikami made his directorial debut with 1996’s Resident Evil. Mikami served as head of Capcom’s illustrious Production Studio 4, overseeing the production of hit titles such as the Resident Evil series and Devil May Cry. In 2004 Mikami left Capcom for its subsidiary CloverStudio Co., Ltd up until November 2005 when he founded Straight Story Ltd. In 2006 Mikami directed GOD HAND, released under the CloverStudio banner. Shinji Mikami currently serves as a director at PlatinumGames Inc. Tatsuya Minami President & CEO Born: 1963, Osaka, Japan. Joining Capcom in 1987, Tatsuya Minami was responsible for numerous titles in his role as producer and production studio chief. In February 2006, Minami founded ODD Inc as President and CEO. October 2007 saw ODD merge with SEEDS Inc. to form PlatinumGames Inc., with Minami once again serving as President and CEO. Shigenori Nishikawa Director, M ADWORLD Noted Works: Dino Crisis 2 (PS) Resident Evil (GC) Resident Evil 4 (GC) After graduating university, Shigenori Nishikawa gained game development experience, eventually landing the role as a planner at Capcom in 2000 and becoming involved with a variety of titles including the hit Resident Evil series. Now a member of PlatinumGames Inc., MADWORLD marks Nishikawa’s directorial debut. Hifumi Kouno Director, Infinite Line Game Director and President of Nude Maker Co., Ltd. Noted Works: Clock Tower (SFC/PSX) Clock Tower 2 (PSX) Steel Battalion (Xbox) Steel Battalion: Line of Contact (Xbox) During his days at Human Entertainment, Inc., Hifumi Kouno was responsible for Clock Tower, Clock Tower 2, Mikagura Shojo Tanteidan, and Neko Zamurai.
