May 17, 2018 AGENDA ITEM 2.: PRESENTATION – MATT MCPHAIL, FEDERAL MARINE TERMINALS BACKGROUND: Matt McPhail is Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for Federal Marine Terminals (FMT). He has been with FMT since 2005 beginning in customer service. Prior to his current role of Vice President, Matt was the Sales and Marketing Manager. He oversees all commercial activities for FMT’s 12 operations located throughout the Great Lakes, US East and Gulf Coast. Matt is supported by a staff of three in the sales and marketing group along with all general managers having commercial responsibilities. FMT has been handling cargoes in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River and along the East and Gulf coasts since 1960. Originally established to compliment the freight operations of the Montreal-based Fednav Limited, FMT soon began to function independently and is now recognized as an industry leader servicing bulk, specialized and general cargo needs.
