Creativity abounds! All are invited to visit the exhibit. How to Participate Registration is required and due to the Division of Cultural Affairs by Thursday, June 2. Any visual artist, age 60 or over, currently residing in Essex County may submit two entries completed within the past 3 years to the Essex County show. The show is open to amateur and professional artists. Professional classification requires you to meet two of the following criteria: 1. Sold artwork through commercial channels 2. Exhibited in a professional gallery 3. More than 5,000 trees will bloom from mid to late April, creating a pink and white setting Cherry that is perfect for picnics and photos. The Essex County Environmental Center at Essex County West Essex Park is situated in a wooded wetland habitat with access to the Passaic River. This interesting and affordable education center offers naturalist-led field trips for school groups, scouts and community groups, as well as birthday parties for children and after school special interest clubs.
