I recently saw Transcendence and was very pleased with the movie. It is a science fiction thriller which revolves around Dr.Will Caster(Johny Depp) which is a very great Scientist in the Artificial Intelligence Community. In this movie Will is working hard to make a sentient machine which will combine collective intelligence with full range of emotions. Will's work leading to a controversial invention made him a prime target of some anti-technology extremist and is lead by Bree(Kate Mara). They engineers a series of strikes against research labs all over the country to set the AI research back.In the course of this single day attacks many best and brightest minds in the field of A.I gets killed, Caster is also wounded by radiation laced bullet in this multi-pronged attck and dying a few weeks later. This attack on Will becomes catalyst for him to succeed and to be a participant in his own transcendence. With the help of his fellow researcher and wife (Rebecca Hall) and his best friend Max Waters (Paul Bettany) he kind of uploaded his consciousness on a server. As soon as Will is uploaded he puts himself online and starts to acquire a power and influence. After that Will's work through a secret data centre in a desert advances him to subject humanity under his facist control.Evelyn also realises that Will's thrust for knowledge is evolving into omnipresent quest of power. At this point of time movie takes a drastic turn as Evelyn agrees to help Will's enemies.

In the movie Wally's Direction was superb , but script of the movie is somewhat not well organized. As far as acting is concerned everybody did their jobs well. You must watch the movie if you are a sci-fi fan.
