John Wei, the brewmaster of Brewlander, started his homebrewing journey in 2008 and have won multiple homebrew awards over the years. In 2016, he decided to take his hobby a step further and enter the world of commercial brewing. Malcolm has extensive MNC & SME experience in marketing, sales & operations management within the beer & hospitality industry. Malcom’s agile approach to consumer craft beer preferences led to the release of a “final” product being tested in- market. The brand/product went through three name changes and four ‘tweaks’ until the brand kicked off. The brand, Singapore Blonde , went onto win the Redmart’s “Best Product Launch of 2016”.
