Configuring YouTube Button For White Label

Set Up Your New White Label – YouTube Channel - Only if you do NOT have one established -

Step 1: Log into main/master account within YouTube and select your main account if you are not already logged in.

Step 2: Click on your Image Icon to the top right and then “Your Channel”

Step 3: To the far left you will see a gear and a “Settings” area. Click that.

Step 4: To the middle you under the title Your Account you will see “See all my channels or create a new channel” click that.

Step 5: To the top left you will see “Create A New Channel”. Click that.

Step 7: Go to Google Developer Console (just it)

Step 8: Log in if you are not already logged into your master

Step 9: To the top left you will see your business name next to the Google APIs area with a little arrow pointing down. Click that. You may have to create an “Organization”. You will see the prompts to create one to hold your API calls for YouTube.

Step 10: A window will open up asking you to Select A Project. To the Right of that box you will see New Project. Select New Project.

Step 11: Name that project the name of your New White Label and click create.

Step 12: Once you hit create it will take you back to the main area. Click on the top drop down area to switch to that new Project with the name of your White Label.

Step 13: It will say “You don’t have any APIs available yet.”

Step 14: Next you will see a + Enable APIs AND SERVICES click that.

Step 15: It will take you to a Welcome to the API Library area ion the search area type in YouTube. It should automatically search for the API’s available.

Step 16: You will see the option for “YouTube Data API v3. Click That. Another window will open up to give you the option to “Enable”- click enable

Step 17: Next, you will see to the top left three lines or a some call a “sandwich menu” next to the Google APIs logo area. Click on that.

Step 18: A slider menu will come out. The top option of API’s & Services will be available. Hover your mouse pointer over that and you will see an option for “Credentials” click that.

Step 19: A window will open and you will see an option to select “OAuth consent screen” = select that. Next it will ask you for User Type, select External, click Create.

Step 20: on the OAuth consent screen” area you will see a box titled Application Name. Name it the name of your White Label.

Step 21: Next you will see Application Logo Upload your white label logo. For best results use the same logo dimensions for the Mobile Page icon you created for your White Label Configuration.

Step 22: Underneath the Scopes for Google API’s you will see a button that says “Add Scope” – click that

Step 23: A window will open up and you will see an option called – YouTube Data API v3 – next to it a . – ./authyoutube.upload – next to that row – Manage your YouTube videos.

Click the to put a Check Mark in the box with all the info in that row. To the bottom right you will see a ADD button – Click That

Step 24: Next you will see a box for Authorized Domains. This is where you will enter in the name of your white label with the .com or the .(whatever extension)

For Example: NameOfYourWhiteLable.com

Step 25: Next you will see a box that says “Application Homepage Link” type in your sales page link. With the: http://

For Example: http://www.NameOfYourWhiteLable.com

Step 26: Next you will copy and paste your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service link from your sales page in the boxes marked Application Privacy Policy link and Application Terms of Services link.

Step 27: Once you’ve done the above you will see a SAVE button under the Terms Of Service link.- “Click Save”

Step 28: Now you should be at a screen that that says APIs Credentials with and drop down menu that says Create Credentials. Click that and select OAuth client ID.

Step 29: You see an option for Web Application click that. Additional boxes will drop down.

Step 30: In the box marked Name, input the name of your White Label

Step 31: In the box marketed Authorized JavaScript origins, input the actual url domain where your white label lives. With the https:// in front of it.

For Example: https://app.thenameofyourwhitelabel.com or my. thenameofyourwhitelabel.com

Once input, double check your spelling and hit the Enter button

Next you will see the button to the bottom of the screen Create click that.

Step 32: Next a window for your Client ID and Client Secret keys will appear in a box. Copy and paste both of those appropriate links into their boxes located within the White Label Configuration area of your Magnfi account and hit save.

Step 33: Test it out with a video that is approved. You may see a “This app isn’t verified” error. This is because Google hasn’t officially verified it.
