Older children are becoming young adults and finding their feet. I enjoy helping them achieve their goals and seeing them mature into successful young adults. I continue to foster for Waltham Forest because the training is really good and the support is there. Also it is important to me that I work with people in my local community. When you foster a local child they can stay close to the friends and places that they know. I feel like part of a team at Waltham Forest. I have also been able to get to understand internal policies and procedures and what is available locally so I believe I can work better for I became a Foster Carer because I really wanted to my young people than if I were a foster carer elsewhere. give something back to my community and to make To anyone considering becoming a foster carer I would say, a difference.
