States, will find renewed purpose and vigor. Amen (O&twsxkw1 ^ »— Davi^ d Davenport I) President, Pepperdine University Thine is the Kingdom God has made His dwelling place with men and women. What a glorious thought! The Kingdom of God has come to earth . . . and it comes again and again, every time one individual bows in submission to the King of the Universe. It is time for a new sense of awe and wonder in our lives. It is time to put aside pettiness and small thinking. It is time to see the exalted King in His glory and shout, "Thine is the Kingdom!" A new vision of Jesus Christ — His mission, His way, His mind, His rule in our hearts — that is the goal of this year's Bible Lectureship. And we humbly dedicate these four days in April to that end, as we study the gospel of Matthew and a multitude of other spiritual topics. We welcome you to this forty-fifth annual feast! It is the largest lectureship program in Pepperdine's history, with twelve classes at every regular time slot, with additional late night specials and new special events. God has blessed this annual gathering with increasing attendance and has raised up outstanding men and women to share His message with others. And this year again, more than a hundred of the most capable preachers and teachers in the nation are descending on Malibu to edify the people of the Kingdom. Our prayer is that, in these four days, the King will reveal afresh His dazzling majesty, and His Kingdom will come again in our hearts with such force that our lives will never be the same.
