Model output was evaluated using indices of the root mean square error (RMSE), and the Nash and Sutcliffe coefficient (NSE). The findings showed that the LSTM model outperformed RF and TB in predicting the streamflow with RMSE and NSE equal to 102.411, and 0.911 respectively.

    Mid Coxs River Mid Coxs Appendix 4.2 Appendix Subcatchment summaries Subcatchment Mid Coxs River Subcatchment River Mid Coxs The Mid Coxs River subcatchment is located in the far-west section of the Hawkesbury Nepean catchment. It is characterised by narrow granite valleys and contains the World Heritage listed Jenolan Caves Karst Conservation Reserve. The subcatchment has signifi cant areas in reserved land in its lower reaches in the Kanagra Boyd National Park, part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The subcatchment is highly valued for its recreational values by local and regional communities. Flows in the Mid Coxs River are impacted by impoundment at Lake Lyell. In the upper area of the subcatchment, there is signifi cant rural development, and pine plantations in the tributary headwaters both of which have altered the vegetation of this subcatchment. The impacts of these activities need to be well managed to prevent degradation of the near intact reaches downstream. There is a major Landcare association, the Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association, and numerous Landcare groups working in the subcatchment, as well as weed control and mapping programs undertaken by the National Parks and Wildlife Service. But Saturday 27 September, the first 'Shilling Day', banished all apprehension as 30,000 visitors crowded the Garden Palace and applauded a repeat performance of the Exhibition Cantata and the Hallelujah Chorus. The Sydney tram system owes its origins to the Exhibition. The first tram lines were laid from the nearest railway station at Redfern to Hunter Street to bring visitors in a double-decked carriage driven by a newly built steam tram. After the Exhibition this tram line was doubled all the way and extended to the eastern, southern and western suburbs. Among the many exhibits, only to name but a few from all over the world, included a Turkish Bazaar, Japanese Tea House, 116 samples of tea from different countries, Emerson's Oyster Saloon, a Maori House, Austro-Hungarian Wme and Beer Tasting Hall. A Fijian house, for a time inhabited by dancing natives claiming to have been cannibals, The Australian Dairy (a glass of fresh, cold milk for a penny), 20 kingdoms, republics and colonies were represented.
