Longtime Kirkmont resident Linda McDonald spent a whirlwind week in the Los Angeles area with her cousin Patricia “Pat” Herd. Pat, an actor, and longtime resident of that area, played tour guide to Linda as they visited most of the famous tourist attractions. Linda and Pat were even stopped on Hollywood Boulevard by a photographic staff from the Jimmy Kimmel Show and their “per- formance” was actually shown on the show that night. Seen below is Linda, on the left, with her cousin Pat as they visited Universal Studios and took the tour. Pat and her husband, Richard Herd, took Linda to the private magicians’ club, The Magic Castle, as seen in the photo on the right. Richard, an actor himself, has had parts in many movies and television series over the years, including playing Mr. Wilhelm in the Seinfeld series.
