2020
Dear Friends,
If you’re like me, the political spin machine that descends on Ohio every two years can get exhausting. It’s more difficult than ever to actually find out the facts about the candid tes on our ballot.
At Citizens for Community Values, we want to help you tune out the nasty ads and personal attacks to discover the true positions of the candidates on some of the most important issues.
For decades, CCV has been releasing a nonpartisan Voter Guide, and this year, we’re providing more information on more candidates than ever before. We survey every candidate, and report back to you where they stand. And if the candidate doesn’t want to share their position or declines to respond, we research their public statements and voting records to give you the most unbiased information anywhere.
This printed Voter Guide is just the start. At BuckeyeBallot.com, you can access even more:
• A personalized Voter Guide with only the candidates on your ballot.
• Candidate comments on survey questions.
• Endorsements of candidates from a variety of advocacy organizations from all sides of the political spectrum.
• Free Voter Guide resources to download to share at churches or in your community.
• Links to register to vote, find your polling loc tion, and more!
Elections are about much more than picking winners or losers; they’re about setting a course for our state and nation. Don’t let your voice be silenced in this crucial election year. Be sure to vote on November 3!
For freedom,
Aaron Baer President Citizens for Community Values
About Citizens for Community Values
