2. The committee considered the estimates for the Ministry of Trade and Export Development.

The Minister of Trade and Export Development and the following official appeared before the committee and answered questions:

3. The committee recessed from 1:49 p.m. until 1:57 p.m.

4. The committee resumed consideration of the estimates for the Ministry of Trade and Export Development.

5. The committee adjourned consideration of the estimates for the Ministry of Trade and Export Development.

6. The committee considered Bill No. 29, The Supporting Saskatchewan Restaurants Act.

7. The questions being put on clauses 1 and 2, they were agreed to.

8. During consideration of clause 3, it was moved by Ms. Young (Regina University):

Amend Clause 3 of the printed Bill in clause 3(1)(a) by striking out “18%” and substituting “15%”.

9. Ms. Young (Regina University) sought leave to revert to clause 3. Leave was not granted.

10. The questions being put on clauses 4 to 14, they were agreed to.

11. During consideration of clause 15, it was moved by Ms. Young (Regina University):

Amend Clause 15 of the printed Bill in subsection 15(2) by adding the following after clause 15(2)(b):

“(c) the day following the date on which the state of emergency pursuant to subsection 17(1) of The Emergency Planning Act related to COVID 19 pandemic is no longer in force or effect”.

A debate arising and the question being put on the amendment, it was defeated on the following recorded division:

12. It was moved by Mr. Steele:
