Meyers (Carl Fox) Jacksonville, FL • Jacksonville Wyndham Riverwalk Chairman Megaplex 2007 On behalf of the Board and staff, I welcome you to the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk, in my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, and Megaplex 2007! This is the sixth edition of Florida's furry arts and entertainment convention, and our first year on the First Coast. We've been working CONVENTION STAFF (behind the camera) hard to make this year special, and a big thank you goes out to the staff for their great efforts in Chairman: Sponsor Suite: bringing this all together. Mike is a Jess "Lynxcat" Kiela Randy "Yappy Fox" Fox professional animator and comics artist; old-school furry fans will remember his comics work Promotions: Jess "Lynxcat" Kiela on "The Adventures of Captain Jack" (Fantagraphics), and "Mean Green Bondo Machine" and Liesl Muckey Convention Badge Design: "The Suit" (MU Press). He has also drawn "Ren and Stimpy" for Marvel, "Cow and Chicken" Dealer’s Room: Terry “Mouse” Sender for DC Comics, and "The Mighty Mutanimals" for Archie Comics, and is currently working on Genesis "Gen" Whitmore "Futurama" for Bongo Comics and "Camp Lazlo" for DC. Animation-wise, his credits include Fursuit/Puppet Track Coordinator: "The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse", "Tiny Toon Adventures", and "The Simpsons"; more “Santa Fox” recently, he has worked on "Krypto the Superdog", "Johnny Test", and "Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi". Old- wood, CA. He appreciates contact from fans, questions related to the animation industry school furry fans will remember his comics work on and history, and anything automobile-related. ‘The Adventures of Captain Jack’ (Fantagraphics), ‘Mean Green Bondo Machine’ and ‘The Suit’ (MU Press). He has also drawn Ren and Stimpy for Marvel, Cow and Chicken for DC Comics, and The Mighty Mutanimals for Archie Comics, and is currently working on Futurama for BongoCom- ics and Camp Lazlo for DC. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Mike entered the comics field through the underground comic Dope Comix at Kitchen Sink in 1983. Between 1986 and 1992, he did worked on Fantagraphics titles from ‘Captain Jack’ to 'Anything Goes', 'Doomesday Patrol', 'Usagi Yojimbo' and 'Fontaine the Fox'. In the early 1990s, he joined Archie Comics, where he did artwork on 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'. He has also worked on Marvel titles like 'Mighty Mouse', 'Ren and Stimpy' and 'Tummy Trouble'. In addtion, Mike is active in animation. He has directed TV spots for Geoffry & Jeffry from 1983 to 1985, and then worked as an assistant animator at Filmation Associates. In working with studios such as Bakshi Animation, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros., his credits include The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse, Tiny Toon Adventures, and The Simpsons; more recently, he has worked on Krypto the Superdog, Johnny Test, and Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi. He was also a storyboard artist for the upcoming movie, The Ant Bully. Mike is very knowledgable of the animation and "golden age" funny-animal comics industry. 5 6 HELP SUPPORT LET’S MAKE A...
