Carburetors Edelbrock 94™ Carburetor In 1938, when Henry Ford needed a more efficient carburetor for his new 24-stud Flathead V8 engine, he contracted development to the Chandler-Groves Company and the 94 two-barrel carburetor was born, fueling Ford engines until production ceased in 1957. Flash-forward to 2012 and the 94 is once again available, by none other than Edelbrock! Built around Edelbrock's reputation of bolt-on performance carburetors, the Edelbrock 94 two barrel carburetor provides nostalgic and period correct hot rods and restorations with the most accurate and best performing solution on the market. The Edelbrock 94 features a die-cast bowl and air horn with an aluminum 3-bolt base. It features an extended throttle shaft to make it easier to set-up dual and triple carburetor combinations, especially when used with Edelbrock's exclusive progressive linkage. XTREME STREET CLASS OVERVIEW Xtreme Street is a heads-up small tire class designed for American production vehicles. Small block and big block engines are allowed the use of a single power adder which is restricted in size to maintain class parity. Cross breeding of an engine to a different make/manufacturer body is permitted. Note: This set of class rules is presented to all competitors under the assumption that any modifications not specifically written within these rules shall be deemed illegal, unless the competitor has the expressed written consent from the NMCA Tech Director. H&H Flatheads History H&H was started by Mike Harm’s father Max Sr. at the current location in 1972 rebuilding Ford Model T, A, B and flathead V8s. Mike who gained a masters in business management with marketing at Colorado Mesa University, joined the company in 2000 and was soon handling the bulk of the specialty machine and assembly work. In 2003, at just age 25, Mike took over the V8 operation while his father and brother Max Jr. continued to specialize in the 4-banger T’s, A’s and B’s. Original Navarro pattern Specializing in Ford Flathead V8’s Mike’s education gave him a unique perspective on what he could do with the business and where it could go. Not content with just rebuilding engines Mike wanted to supply parts and parts that were no longer readily available. His first acquisition was in 2007 when he purchased Barney Navarro’s well-proven speed equipment line consisting of cast aluminum cylinder heads, intakes and various accessories. Navarro was quickly followed by Sharp and then Austin and most recently Wilson & Woods and Dixon sohv heads. These acquisitions put Mike in a unique position as an engine builder who can reach into to his parts bin for almost any combination a customer can request. The H&H family even reproduces the famous S.C.o.T. supercharger that can be adapted to almost any engine.
