Loughrea Match: U-10’s bounce back! (Submitted by Kevin Moran)

On Wednesday September 3rd our U-10s travelled to play a physically strong and skilful team. Our lads were slow to get into the game and Loughrea took the lead with a goal inside the first five minutes. They maintained this advantage up to final 1/3 of the game where the score was 3-1 to Carnmore’s 1-2. In a rousing final 10 minutes display, our lads showed great determination and fought back to score two goals and win the match by a point on a final scoreline of 3-2 to 3-1. After Saturday’s defeat to Turloughmore, this was a morale boosting win. All 12 Carnmore players played well on the evening with notable performances from Luc O’Connor, Eoin Hopwood, Ryan Gaughan and a man-of-the-match display from Rory Glynn in defence.
