There is a trip to look forward to in June, followed by a talk by Rev Nigel Spencer entitled “Puffing around the Ring Road” & some singing for fun with the Northstead Singers. This year we have decided not to enter the Yorkshire in Bloom Competition but to concentrate on developing & updating the existing beds & repairing broken fittings. The village will be as colourful as usual with a special display in Les’ bike which is to be painted blue and filled with flowers & placed in the Chapel Garden for the Tour de Yorkshire on 1st May. Look out for it as you pass the Chapel. We welcome new members with new ideas to enhance the village.
