GOVERNMENT OF MINISTRY OF PLANNING DEVELOPMENT & SPECIAL INTIATIVES PAKISTAN BUREAU OF STATISTICS RANKING REPORT FOR THE WEEK ENDED ON (01-JUL-2021) (Based On Decision Support System On Inflation)

Decision Support System for Inflation (DSSI) developed by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics under the Prime Minister's Digital Pakistan Vision provides timely information on essential commodity prices to the National Price Monitoring Committee, Federal Ministries, Provincial Governments and District Administrations. DSSI provides a Ranking Mechanism of Districts through which the management at Provincial and Federal level can monitor the price variation on weekly as well as monthly basis in 17 major of the country. Ranking is based on a basket of 10-12 essential items whose prices differential is calculated among DC rates and PBS prices through weighted average.
