Club Regent Texas Hold’em “High Hand of the Day” Club Card Event July 29, 2019 to December 30, 2019

Club Card Event Overview

During July 29, 2019 to December 30, 2019 (the specified period), Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation (MBLL) will conduct the Texas Hold’em “High Hand of the Day” event at Club Regent Casino during all live cash games of Texas Hold’em .

Qualifying

To qualify to win a prize the Player must:

1. Be playing a Texas Hold’em cash game. 2. Be participating in a hand with a pot value of at least $20. 3. Use both hole cards for hand. 4. Have a Full House or better. 5. Win the entire main pot for which the qualifying hand was dealt. 6. Show the winning hand. 7. Present a valid Club Card.

The top 3 qualifying high hands will be displayed in the Poker Room. Staff will update the display as required. Players are responsible to notify staff of a potential qualifying hand at the end of the hand in play, prior to the next hand being dealt. Before a qualifying hand is declared, the hand must be verified by the Inspector and the Club Card member must also present valid identification that matches the name on the Club Card.

Prizing • Each available prize consists of $250.00. • The highest hand of the day (during the hours specified) will be awarded a prize. • Player must be present in the Poker Room at 23:00 hours the same day that they qualified to accept the prize. • Maximum one prize awarded per day. • Maximum of 23 prizes available during the specified period. • Total Prize value available for the specified period: $5750.00. • If a Royal Flush is the high hand, it will remain the high hand until the prize is awarded and can be matched by other Club Card Players. • In the event of a tie, the prize pool will be split evenly between all Club Card members that achieved that high hand. • Odds of being awarded a prize are dependent on the number of Club Card members playing Texas Hold ‘em Poker at Club Regent Casino during the specified period.

1. Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation (MBLL) employees are not eligible to participate. In the event an MBLL employee does participate in this event, any prizes won will be forfeited.

2. MBLL family members, as defined by MBLL policy, are eligible to participate for prizes. Family member is defined by MBLL as: father, mother, brother, sister, spouse (including common-law spouse), child or ward of an employee.

3. Table Games Players, must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to participate in this event.

4. Persons under voluntary or involuntary exclusion are not permitted in Club Regent Casino and therefore may not participate in this event for the duration of the exclusion.

5. Guests must provide their active club card to be eligible to participate. An active Club Card is defined as issued on/after January 14, 2008 and as having recorded activity within the past eighteen (18) months.

6. Club Card members may participate in this event by playing at a live cash Texas Hold’em Poker Table at the Club Regent Casino during the specified period.

7. Club Card members are eligible to win only once per day for this event during the specified period.

8. All cash prizes will be awarded in equivalent casino value chips.

9. In the event that no Players achieve a qualifying hand during the specified period, no prize will be awarded and Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries is not obligated to award any prize.

10. Prior to receiving the prize, all event winners will be required to sign the Event Overview and Rules & Regulations sheet to show they have read, are in compliance with the rules & regulations and agree to be bound by same.

11. Prior to receiving a prize, each winner must present valid photo identification. Acceptable pieces of photo ID may include: valid Driver’s License, Manitoba Identification Card, Canadian Forces ID, Canadian Firearms Possession & Acquisition License, Aboriginal Treaty Card, Secure Certificate of Indian Status, Passport or Travel Visa, Canadian Citizenship Card. Non- photo ID may include: Birth Certificate and Provincial Health registration Certificate presented together.

12. All prizes must be accepted as awarded; no substitutions will be provided. Prizes are non- transferable.

13. To accept their prize, Club Card members must be present in the Poker Room at 23:00 hours the same day that they qualified. There will be an announcement in the Poker Room and the Player will have 10 minutes to attend the Poker Room and accept the prize. If the Player is not present after the 10 minutes, the Player with the second highest hand will be awarded the prize if present, and then the third. If none of these Players claim the prize, no prize will be awarded, but carried over to the next time the event is offered and combined with that prize.

14. Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries reserves the right to cancel or modify the Club Card program or the terms and conditions in any way without prior notice.

Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing any Club Card Event or awarding prizes in the event of circumstances beyond MBLL control.

16. In the event of a dispute, these Rules & Regulations will overrule any other communication including, but not limited to signage, web advertising, direct mail, etc.

17. Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries is not responsible for malfunctions with respect to the Club Card program.

18. All time requirements as stated in the Event Overview and Rules & Regulations reflect Central Standard Time, and are regulated by the synchronized Alpha Serial Casino clocks.

19. Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries and its respective directors, employees and agents are not liable for any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses Table Games Players may incur while taking part in, or resulting from participation in this event.

20. Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, on behalf of the Province of Manitoba, is legally authorized to conduct and manage casino gaming activity in Manitoba. MBLL operates Club Regent Casino and McPhillips Station Casino which feature this Club Card Program. The personal information collected in this application relates to the management and accounting of the Club Card Program, marketing and customer research activities and may be shared internally to enable the implementation of a voluntary or involuntary exclusion. The information is confidentially maintained in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and may be disclosed only in accordance with legislative enactments or as may be required by law.
