Started the successful Dutch racing team ”Team Radio Veronica” in 1967. 1969-1970 Raced in the FIA - Two Liter Sports/ Prototype Championship won FIA Champion title in 1970 with Abarth 2000SP. Participated in the South America’s Argentine Temporada Series (two races) with Barry Smith from the UK in a Lola T70 1971- 1972 Started ”Canon Racing Team” and raced in FIA Sports/Prototype races in Europe with Chevron B19 (co-driver was John Burton from the UK) Participated in Springbok Series in South Africa with as co-driver. Finished 2nd Overall behind . ………………………………………..…..21 Races. 1972 Retired from pro-racing due to business commitments 1974-1981 Clerk of the Course / Chief Steward (Race Director) for the Dutch F1 Grand Prix races and all the National and International races at Zandvoort, the Netherlands, for 8 years.
