TASTING NOTES Refreshing aromas of lemon-lime, melon and a soft hint of vanilla intrigue the nose. On the palate, citrus and pineapple flavors combine with a touch of white guava from the French Colombard. Smooth with bright acidity, the tasty finish lingers with a toasty aftertaste.

WINEMAKER NOTES An excellent for California, 2014 showcased a mild winter and spring which caused and early bud break. The overall length of the growing season was similar to years past with maximum ripeness and full rich flavors. After the were harvested from several of California’s finest appellations, they were destemmed, crushed and pressed then aged in new French for six months. This Chardonnay also went through 50% which gives the a creamy, rich mouth feel. A small amount BLEND of French Colombard and were added to round out the blend, providing complex 95% Chardonnay, 4% French flavors and delicate aromas. Colombard, 1% Viognier APPELLATIONS 71% California, 14% River Junction, FOOD PAIRINGS 9% Sonoma Coast, 4% Lodi, This Chardonnay would pair wonderfully with an herb-crusted halibut, chicken, or pork 2% Sonoma County loin paired with a zesty zucchini and mushroom side dish. Any tropical or pan-Asian ANALYSIS cuisine would pair well too: pot stickers with edamame and a soy vinaigrette or grilled pH 3.39 shrimp with a pineapple salsa on a warm summer’s night.
