Appointment of FAMS administrator in Pakistan

The increase in the number of students being financed has increased the admin work of the charity. This year FAMS Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Syed Waheed Hussain as administrator for FAMS in Pakistan. Mr Hussain will be responsible for streamlining the charity’s operations in Pakistan.

Minimal Admin costs

Till the year 2020, FAMS has always been proud in maintaining zero admin costs as the charity has nei- ther an office nor any paid employee. There has been no stationary costs and the annual fundraising events have been either fully or partially sponsored. However, as mentioned above, the increased work- load required the appointment of a paid employee (Administrator) in Pakistan. His salary constitutes 1.4% of the refund that charity annually gets through the Gift Aid.
