The Route to IP MAN's Grave (Guide) www.vingtsunupdate.com www.wslvt.com ________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Route to IP MAN’s grave (guide) Take the MTR towards Lo Wu/Lok Man Chau (East Rail Line) to Fanling station. When The MTR closes in on Fanling station, you can see a big temple on your left side. It is a Taoist Temple where Ip Man’s grave is located Take the left exit (seen from the direction the MTR is going). Go over the walking bridge of the highway and at the end take the stairs down at your left side. Walk trough the tunnel (in Hongkong called a subway) and at the end turn left. Walk towards the temple and walk a bit further after the main intrance (So don’t get in there) There is a path that leads up. Walk in at the left path, towards the yellow fence. Follow the path for a few hundred meters until you reached the stairs with the yellow fence. Go up here and keep following the path. At some moment you will find 2 signs that point into the direction of Ip Man’s grave where it says ‘Graye of Ving Tsun Grandmaster IP MAN’, which is actually misspelled. Go up the stairs, but not all the way! At some corner, not too far from where the stairs begin, you’ll find the Grave of Ip Man. It’s a very big grave. Tips: • Most of the time there will be some incense sticks to light. Traditionally raise them 3 times. • If you make the walk, be sure to be protected against mosquito’s. .
