The purpose of this document is to provide clients with a basic insight into the capabilities, experience and resources of Urban Perspectives Town & Regional Planning cc.

The firm is based in Centurion, (75 Jean Avenue, ) and provides a broad range of Consulting Town and Regional Planning and Project Management services over a wide geographic area to a variety of clients.

Through co-operation with numerous well-known firms from other disciplines, the firm is able to cater for a diverse range of planning projects.

STRATEGIC / SPATIAL PLANNING:

 Tlhabane Wes Structure Plan (Rustenburg, North West Province): Development Framework for 23 000 inhabitants for the Rustenburg Transitional Council.

 Ga-Motle Structure Plan – DFA Application (North West Province): The formulation and design of a development framework for the future socio- economical and physical development of the Ga-Motle township and its surrounding areas for the Rustenburg - Marico District Council (approximately 38 000 inhabitants).

 Status Quo Report (Highveld District Council): Report on the status of the existing infrastructure, social and economic development in the area of jurisdiction of the Ekangala Local Council.

 Kwamhlanga Status Quo Report (Highveld District Council): Report on the status of the existing infrastructure, social and economic development in the area of jurisdiction of the Kwamhlanga Local Council.

 Ekangala LDO’s / IDP’s (Highveld District Council): Compilation of an Integrated Development Plan through Land Development Objectives for Ekangala Local Council.

 Kwamhlanga LDO’s / IDP’s (Highveld District Council): Compilation of an Integrated Development Plan through Land Development Objectives for Kwamhlanga Local Council.

 Moreletapark Local Guideline Plan (M&T Development): The compilation of a Guideline Plan for the future development of a part of - 4 -

Moreletapark, Pretoria, for approximately 6000 inhabitants.

 Klip/Kruisfontein Framework and Development Plan: A Framework Plan and a Development Plan was prepared for the potential urbanisation area Klip-/Kruisfontein, near , Pretoria (±4 000ha) on instruction of the Pretoria Regional Services Council.

 Devon/Impumelelo Demographical Study: Supporting study to the Business Plan for the Water & Sewerage Reticulation Program prepared by VIP Engineering Consultants for the Devon Local Area Committee. The estimated population growth was determined over a 25 year period in order to determine the effect on the Spatial Development of the area and the need for bulk service provision.

 Development Proposal for the Formalisation of Informal Trade in Sunderland Ridge (appointed by Centurion Town Council): The nature and extent of informal trade in the industrial township of Sunderland Ridge, as well as the needs of the informal traders and property owners were identified and evaluated. Development proposals were prepared with regard to the most suitable areas for the establishment of informal trade, the availability of engineering services and the extent to which new trade facilities (structures) will be provided and existing facilities upgraded.

 Development Proposal for the Formalisation of Informal Trade in the Hennopspark Industrial Area (appointed by Centurion Town Council): The nature and extent of informal trade in the industrial township of Hennopspark, as well as the needs of the informal traders and property owners were identified and evaluated. Development proposals were prepared with regard to the most suitable areas for the establishment of informal trade, the availability of engineering services and the extent to which new trade facilities (structures) will be provided and existing facilities upgraded.

 Development Framework for the Lyttelton Manor East Area (Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality): Compilation of a development framework, which focuses on urban design for the Lyttelton Manor East Area as well as a proposal for the Management of Pedestrian Movement from the Centurion Station to the Lyttelton Manor Industrial Area.

 Revision of the Midvaal IDP (2003-2004): Midvaal Local Municipality.

 Re-alignment of the Midvaal Urban Edge (2003): Midvaal Local Municipality.

 Rubenstein Drive Spatial Development Framework (2004): Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.

 Raslouw Agricultural Holdings Spatial Development Framework (2004): Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.

LAND USE CONTROL / TOWNSHIP DEVELOPMENT FACILITATION:

 Tlhabane Wes (Rustenburg, North West Province): Design of the Tlhabane Wes Township (approximately 3800 stands).

 Ga-Motle Township Design (North West Province): The design, formalization and extension of the existing Township of Ga-Motle taking existing structures and infrastructure of the informal settlement into account for the Rustenburg - Marico District Council (2900 stands).

 Boitekong Extension 13 (Rustenburg, North West Province): Took part in the design of Boitekong Extension 13 (450 stands).

 Meriting Extension 1 Phase 2 (Rustenburg, North West Province): Took part in the design of the Meriting Township (683 stands).

 Township on Town and Townlands of Rustenburg 272-JQ (Rustenburg, North West Province): Took part in the design of the above-mentioned township (1153 stands). Township establishment application has been submitted for 482 residential stands to be known as Boitekong Extension 18.

 21st ROCLA Plant in Southern Africa (Mpumalanga): New ROCLA plant for the manufacturing of pre-cast concrete products (Nelspruit).

 Extension 64 (M&T Development): Business facilities of approximately 5500m².

 Moreletapark Extension 62 (M&T Development): Design and establishment of a residential township (212 erven) with ancillary land uses in the form of a security village, as well as 4 group housing erven of approximately 5 Ha in total.

 Moreletapark Extension 64 (M&T Development): Design and establishment of a high density residential township in the form of 4 group housing erven of approximately 5 Ha in total.

 Moreletapark Extension 66 (M&T Development): Retail facilities of approximately 2500m².

 Extension 13 (Treatim (Pty) Ltd): Business facilities of approximately 10000m².

 Bergtuin Extension 2: Design and establishment of a commercial and industrial township (36 stands).

 Persequor Extension 6: Design and approval of a township application for a hotel and casino resort (44500m²).

 Roseville Extension 1: Design and establishment of a commercial, industrial and motor service centre township.

 Neighbourhood Shopping Centre – Eldoraigne Extension 1: Acquire the necessary land use rights in order to develop a neighbourhood centre of ±9000m².

 Faeriedale Neighbourhood Shopping Centre – Faerie Glen Extension 9: Acquire the necessary land use rights in order to develop a neighbourhood centre of ±9000m².

 Buffelsdrift Residential Nature Reserve – Buffelsdrift, 281-JR: Subdivision of 1,5 to 3 hectare portions in a nature area (106 portions).

 Kagiso Extention 11: Street closure, consolidation and re-layout of 299 residential erven (Krugersdorp TLC).

 Erven 484 and 485, Moreletapark Extension 3 (Cedre Pty Ltd): Acquire the necessary land use rights for the development of new dental/medical consulting rooms, related laboratories and a theatre for the Pretoria-East Dental Specialist Group (±1 000m²).

 Die Hoewes Extensions 151, 152, 162, 164, 170, 171, 180, 187, 192, 200- 202, 207, 208, 217, 220, 221, 226, 229-233, 236, 237 and 257 (Various developers): Establishment of medium to high-density group housing- and office developments in the Lyttelton Agricultural Holdings area – Centurion (submission to proclamation ± 9 months).

 Boardwalk Villas & Boardwalk Villas Extensions 1, 2, 3 & 4 (M&T Development cc): Establishment of medium to high-density group housing townships in the Olympus Agricultural Holdings area – Pretoria (submission to proclamation ± 8 months).

 Equestria Extensions Extensions 26, 94, 136, 186 and 209 (Mr J Nicholson): Design and establishment of full-title medium density group housing townships in the Willowglen Agricultural Holdings area – Tshwane (submission to proclamation ± 9 months).

 Euphoria Golf and Country Estate: Design and establishment of golf and country estate (in terms of the Development Facilitation Act, 1995) with ±700 residential erven (ranging from 700m² to 1 Hectare), 18 hole golf course, clubhouse, health spa, sports complex, guest lodge and chalets as well as equestrian facilities, situated 7 kilometres to the south of Mookghopong in the Limpopo Province (Euphoria Golf Estate (Pty) Ltd).
