The consortium, which successfully staged the opening and closing ceremonies of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009, will also produce the tournament’s closing ceremony for the LOC on 11 July 2010. The ceremony was followed by the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup between South Africa and Mexico.
