Launch of Vaccination Sites at Universities in Tokyo

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has decided to open vaccination sites in cooperation with Aoyama Gakuin University, , and Tokyo Metropolitan University, targeting students, faculty, and staff of universities that are headquartered in Tokyo. (Individuals studying or working at Tokyo Techʼs Suzukakedai Campus are also eligible.) Tokyo Tech has applied to implement workplace vaccinations, but has not yet received confirmation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. As such, we encourage those who wish to be vaccinated as early as possible to consider the above three university sites. Please note that the vaccine to be provided at those sites is manufactured by Pfizer, while Tokyo Techʼs on-campus vaccination will provide the Moderna vaccine. Be sure to make your first and second vaccination reservations at the same venue. Various other vaccination sites are now available, such as those organized by local governments and other universities. However, vaccine supplies are generally limited, so please refrain from making multiple reservations at different sites and last-minute cancellations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
