OUR MISSION Rugby promotes a love for rugby among its youth, it hopes to foster and promote amateur rugby sports competition more broadly among the general populations. Through this multi-generational charitable approach, Chicago Lions Rugby can promote healthy physical activities in a competitive environment, thereby producing better citizens in Chicago and beyond.

In April of 2017, Chicago Lions Rugby Football club merged with the Chicago Lions Charitable

OUR TEAMS CHICAGO LIONS RUGBY The Lions are the only team in the Midwest to MEN’S 15 field fully competitive sides for Division 1, Men’s Club 7s and a Women’s 7s competition, as well as a 2nd team development side. The Lions have MEN’S 7s had several teams within our organization, including an over 35s “Grey Lions” to keep our WOMEN’S 7s extensive network of players old and new active and involved. We have an elite, experienced coaching sta and are fortunate to also have a YOUTH PROGRAM full-service training sta partnership with AthletiCo at their disposal for training sessions and matches, both home and away.

17 CHICAGO LIONS CHARITABLE ASSOCIATION (CLCA) LIONS FOR HOPE SPORTS COMPLEX

On April 24th, 2015, the Chicago Lions Charitable Association (CLCA), in partnership with Chicago Hope Academy (Hope), acquired 8 acres of undeveloped land on the near west side of Chicago. This solidifies the relationship between Hope and Chicago Lions Rugby that began in 2009.

This complex will enable the CLCA and Hope to provide a safe environment for inner-city kids to participate in athletics in addition to developing and promoting youth rugby in the city of Chicago.
