Detection limits for the 300-bp Cam V 35Slm-epsps and the 173-bp nos tenninator gene fragments by the multiplex PCR procedure used in this study were 0.5% and 1.0%, respectively. The three new primers designed and tested in this study can now be used for multiplex PCR detection of GM soybean containing the transgenes CamVIEPSPS and nos tenninator and can be utilized in developing a commercial detection kit for such transgenes in GM soybean.
